About Us

Who We Are

Rapax Fly Fishing was started with a single goal in mind - to help you catch warm water fish on the fly. The flies, gear, apparel and other products we offer are thus carefully curated and sourced to help you target species such as largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, pike, muskie, panfish, carp among others.

If there is a specific product you are interested in but can't find on our website please contact our team and we would be happy to source it for you.

 Our Mission

“To Promote a Life Lived Through Fly Fishing & the Outdoors”

Join Our Fly Fishing Community

Founded in 2015, Rapax Fly Fishing aims to provide a marketplace and community where the growing numbers of warm water fly fishermen can purchase equipment specifically tailored to the larger, and in many cases “toothier” critters they are fishing for.

This effort was a response by our founder Benny Pacheco who struggled to find and purchase species-specific gear to hunt for smallmouth bass in the crystal clear Canadian shield lakes.

“I was trying to make the jump from tightline nymphing for small little resident brook trout to targeting hungry and hard fighting fish. However, I could not readily find information on what I would need or a single source where I could purchase it all. It was a wakeup call. If it is a challenge for a fly fisherman with a life-long passion to put together an outfit I can only imagine how hard it must be for someone who is taking up fly fishing for warm water fish for the first time. I believe this is a big obstacle in furthering our sport and one of the main reasons I started up Rapax Fly Fishing”.
