The Barred Flashabou Magnum from Hedron is a great and economical alternative to grizzly hackles on your bass, pike, and muskie streamers. 

In addition to being a cost effective alternative to grizzly feathers they are also longer and a more durable material than grizzly hackle. 

Each package contains around 400 strands of barred flashabou with dimensions of 1/32" by 20" which makes them suitable for a wide range of streamers and other flies.

This large Scandinavian style inspired articulated pike fly is tied with a 4/0 back hook and a Flymen Fishing Company 40mm Big Game Shank front articulation. The materials used in the fly is bucktail and flashabou which not only gives the fly bulk but also amazing movement and flash in the water. The fly is finished with epoxy eyes which are known to be triggers for pike and other predatory fish.

Ideally fished on an intermediate or sinking line with a #9-weight rod but can also be fished in the upper water column with a standard floating line. 

The darker colour of this fly is ideal in stained water or low-light conditions.

The new Dragon tails are the latest addition to the wiggle tail series made by Paolo Pacchiarini. 

The dragon tails are an ideal choice for situations that require slower retrieves since they maintain their enticing action even at the slightest twitch. As for the traditional wiggle tails the vibration from the tail stimulates the lateral line of the fish even during dark or muddy water conditions, and the flash from the tail mimics the scales of a fleeing baitfish and provides a visual cue. 

The tails can be directly tied to the hook but benefit from being attached using an open snap (tied on hook)/closed snap (tied on tail) combo, which together allows for quick changes to a different coloured tail if the situation dictates.
